The Original Spirograph Card Creations Kit - Product Review by Alex Jones 9yrs
The Original Spirograph Card Creations Kit $9.95 by Hasbro
My name is Alex, well you probably already know that. Today I am reporting on a spirograph card set. At $9.95 I thought this was worth the money as there were a lot of pretty cards and papers in the packet.
You are also probably wondering where I do my crazy blog stuff and the answer to that is in my very small room. I do my crafts at my desk and my favourite dog, Stormy, keeps me company. I am also doing this one because there are so many birthdays coming up and they will make good cards for my friends who are boys as well as girls.
Why I love it? Because it is good for birthdays and it was fun and it gave me time to relax.
This birthday card craft activity did not look as exciting as others, but it ended up being a lot of fun.
Ta da!
Note from Alex’s Mum
Yes, nine-year-old Alex did enjoy the Spirograph Card Creations activity pack and worked for nearly three hours making and decorating cards. Alex paints a lot and, although she loves that, the art is sometimes intense so this card set was very relaxing for her.
This activity, from the Spirograph company founded in 1965, is suitable for children over four. It is a great little idea for a restaurant trip or plane journey as it's not messy, and a welcome change from colouring-in and YouTube videos. Alex made eight cards with different Spirograph designs that are suitable for birthday cards, so it is actually a very cost-effective activity. She only needed some scissors and a glue stick. Overall, it was a winner and the result was very professional.
